Don Guillermo Cardona and Dona Maria Morales de Cardona

Don Guillermo Cardona grew up in Ponce, a coastal town in the Southern part of the Island of Puerto Rico. He came to know coffee growing through visits with his grandfather, who had a large farm in Adjuntas.

Don Cardona studied electrical engineering in the US and went to work for GE and for Chrysler. He rose through the management at Chrysler and in later years, took on troubleshooting problems in their Latin American division.

Upon retiring, Don Cardona and Dona Maria returned to his childhood home of Ponce and on a lark bought a small farm in Adjuntas that was once part of his grandfather's farm. His intent was to have a small weekend mountain getaway, but then the coffee bug bit him and the rest is history.
